Somaliyey Toosa ODV is an association based in Forlì, active throughout the country. It was born from the commitment of groups of volunteer activists from the Somali diaspora, present in Italy for many years, who came together to offer concrete and humane support to people in need. The association's mission is to support the most vulnerable segments of society.
Our mission is to support the most vulnerable members of society, with particular attention to new immigrants, forgotten prisoners, and those living in marginalization and suffering.
To empower individuals and communities through humanitarian assistance, education, health services, and sustainable livelihood programs that promote resilience and self-reliance.

Feedback of community from Somaliyey Toosa ODV
“As we heard from the professionals present — the psychiatrist and the psychologist — many Somalis carry deep traumas: caused by civil war, armed conflict, and extremist violence. That is why they sought refuge in the world, and especially in Italy.”
“The Somali community is an important presence in our city. What truly matters is getting to know each other, appreciating each other, respecting each other. We want to maintain this climate of respect, because it is what helps us grow together.”
“In every corner of the world, vulnerable individuals — especially women — face immense challenges due to poverty, conflict, displacement, and inequality. Somaliyey Toosa empowers women to rebuild their lives, protect their families, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.”
